hi everybody, i just bought a 1200 about a week ago so im pretty new to the 1200 scene but certainly not new to datsuns. ive been lurking this forum for a couple days now and i have found a lot of useful info here and i thought id introduce myself and share some pics. im a regular over on ratsun.net. i found my '72 coupe by my parents house for sale and bought it for $100. all it needed was a set of plugs and new gas from sitting for 5 years. the motor just purrs too. my plans are to lower it, and do a little mild work to it for now and have just a realiable daily driver but maybe hit a few autocrosses with it down the road. i also have a '64 L320, '64 NL320, and an '86 Mazda B2000 thats airbagged and bodydropped. i just sold a rusty '72 510 to make room for the 1200. the car still needs to be cleaned up quite a bit more but here are the pics.
heres where she was sitting before i bought her

Welcome to the site.

For $100.00 that looks like a definite score.
even with an original vinyl top, can ya beat that?

Nice truck too.

Wish I could find one that good for $100.

And yes, with the Aussie dollar soaring at the moment it really would be only $100.

Nice find, good to see someone taking care of the old coupe.

Wheels look good on the coupe.

Nice Datsun 320 pickup too.
