How were they even working RPM out? They might have just had some random constants in for wheel diameters and ratios etc and calculated it from the road speed, meaning it's not accurate.

Those pesky SR20's made my 137kw look pretty lame

dont know how they were working it out but it seems about spot on, as i told him not to rev it past 6 something

the engine makes the power that soon coz it does....would have to speak to the guy that built the engine to answer that question though, it was designed for rally use so maybe they like having power early

Was a top day guys . Everyone seemed to have a good time and some good numbers were spat out. Pleanty of cars and guys talking Datto's. If you didn't come you missed out.

The Class Winners were:

Class A 4 Cylinder N/A L18PWR @ 94.9 KW Datsun 1200 with L18
Class B 8 Cylinder N/A Six-Ten's Brother @ 315.9 KW VE SS ( Overall winner of the day )
Class C 4 Cylinder Forced Nathan Datsun 1600 @ 202 KW Datsun 1600 SR20DET
Class D 6 Cylinder Forced Six-Ten's mate (sorry forgot his name) @ 266.3 KW Nissan R32 GTR

I don't have any pics as I took video only. I know SR20Datsun took a bunch as did Six-Ten. I'm sure the pics will be put up soon.

I' d like to say thanks to all the guys that came down for a look and those whom participated. Also a big shout out to Dynomotive. Mark's crew were great and seemed to enjoy the day as well. They had some wicked cars there and it seems they have plenty of work. So to Mark for saving the event a big thumbsup. Cheers Mate.

We have a great Datto scene down here and its getting bigger every year. Stay tunned for the next event. Had a chat to a few blokes about a Drag day and will see what we can muster up. GO DATTO!
