I've got a filter between surge tank and EFI pump that should cover crap coming out of the carter, or crap coming out of the surge tank....that's the plan anyway.

I've also seen adapters at Pirtek to change from 6mm to 8mm pipe to which are handy.

Haven't found out about the fuel filters yet (if you can specifiy different diameters for in and out.

If anyone knows that would be good.

why havent you give me a ring.... you know i've done all this before....

there is a better way to return fuel to the tank than the filler... there is a big breather pipe on top of the tank (under the little panel in the boot) t-piece into that

fuel tank wont move it's solid mounted

i had fuel pumps mounted on top of the tank like you are trying... it worked but really its horrible to install and horrible to prime pumps and stuff

you shouldnt need to adapt hose sizes if you have the right fittings on your surge tank and pumps... and if desperate poor hot water from the kettle on a 1/4 hose to get it on a 5/16 etc

when i do efi in a coupe again im getting a tank with in tank pump from a hatchback and making it fit under the car

the surgetank way is truely horrible from a plumbing, electrical and mounting view point.
systems with that many components will always be unreliable as i found out a few times

anyway... give us a call for a chat

rc.....forgot about your experience - just tried to call, I'll give you another call a bit later.

I'd like to do that same (run in tank) - was thinking of getting an alloy drop tank made.

Anway I'll talk to you soon.

Unless not all coupes have this removable panel to access the breather pipe....or is it inside the wheel arch cavity?
