mate your a complete dick it costs around 150 for all the materials to make just my turbo manifold an its just mild steel then you have all the time into making it well over a days work if you do it properly. if you can get the materials in stainles to make a turbo manifold, inlet manifold and all the intercooler piping then get it bent to your specifications THEN all of it welded up and all this comes to 500 please let me know so i can get one made

The 'bodgy' welds can be cleaned up as you go along Phil. You'd use a file, dremel tool or a cutting bit to take the welds down to make them all smooth.

$500 is pretty reasonable but I'm sure Brent would adjust the price depending on the demand.

Considering how much an Aussie welder gets paid and how much work has to go into it, and how much buttweld fittings cost, I'd say it's a hard line to make a decent profit from. I've been thinking about doing this for a while as well!

Jake got some made up and sold for $300 - 330 and I thought that was quite a good price considering. Well I didn't see a big margin when I thought about the costing. But he did it more for the provision of such a useful part rather than for financial benefit.

Brent maybe take the time to talk to Jake (frankthedolphintrainer) about making big orders up and what his experiences were. Real helpful guy.

clyons8 you are on the money, if i get enough orders i will lower the price to say $400 inc postage?
also jakes manifolds are of good quality and are great for the budget builder on a relatively stock motor but his manifolds uses three times less buttweld fittings and a simpler design (less bends going everywhere) so this is the reason of my price being higher
