odd 1200 hood

I have a 1200 hood that's different from all the ones I have seen. It's not flat it's raised in the center. What car/country did it come from? I never seen one like it. I'm in the USA.

sounds to me that its a "gx" bonnet (hood)
was this a JDM bonnet people????

That's a 1972-1973 JDM hood. It was put on all 1200s from Standard to GX -- but only in Japan/Asia markets. Read about it here: 1972 Facelift
Do you wish to sell it? I'll trade a genuine USA spec hood for it.

Ummm.... I would love to but it it would have to be a very very low offer as postage to Australia would kill the idea...
 EDIT: And that car is a very beautiful example of the GX-5, almost in factory condition...
