Well my story involves my lil Daisy (69 1K) and a friends booze up in Dalwallinu WA. I grabbed my best mate, the eskies and the swags and headed off. We had to go via Ocean Reef in Perth to pick up one of the girls, so with three swags, two eskies, and three people in the 1k it was a little tight.
On the way we played chasey with a few cars of mates that were heading there also. It was great fun in the 1k to be overtaking commodore utes and the like at the insane speeds of about 75mph with the stereo blasting windows down and beers in hand.

We arrived at the farm without too much incident, but it was then the fun started. I got cheers all night from the crowd for the little nuts the girl could pull, and the skids were sensational. It all ended suddenly when clutch fork threw the thrust bearing and I lost the clutch. Folks rushed in to help me push out. I parked the girl up for the night, and first light pulled the box out, replaced the thrust bearing, and stormed home, and it was all with a tired a10 that I had in there.

Oh what a night

Bought a 1200 Coupe off eBay from Warnambool. The car had been fitted with a 2.6 sigma engine and 5 speed. [car actually sold on here for the third time since I bought it and sold it on, incidently] It was the middle of summer so I got to drive home [5 hours] in 40 degree heat with the heater tap seized in the ON position and the car had no carpet and exhaust right under my feet. Never sweated so hard in my life...
Car didn't miss a beat and man did I have some fun stirring up V8 commodores at traffic lights going through Geelong

all i can say is that dont underestimate a datsun cause my 1200 ute with an A15 towed my dads friends bf xr6 ute from bathurst to home thats bout 90 km's of big long steep hills and bumpy roads. it usually thakes an hour but it took 2 and a half kept having to stop to let traffic past lol
