Ute sills on a Coupe?

Hi all
I'm sure this is a question that has been covered many times before, but I have searched the forums, and the wiki and can't find the answer. Will Ute sills fit on a coupe? I am presuming that they would be too short, because the coupe doors are longer and the sills run to the trailing edge of the door. The aftermarket panel guy that I just bought some guards and a bonnet from claimed they would fit (but admitted that he'd only ever sold stuff to ute guys). I guess if they don't fit I'll just have to get some rolled at a sheet metal joint - maybe I could go for some galvanised ones in this case? ![]() Cheers Luke

They are too short for a coupe. Ute doors are same length as 4-dr fronts.

thanks guys.
So sounds like the after market ones could be long enough. I've been quoted $80 for both sills, so it sounds like the deal's ok. I guess I could buy a 3rd one and cut it up if they turn out to be too short. You can view topic.
