is the car drivable and licensed or not?

if its licensed and drivable then there are heaps of carriers, ill ask my neightbour when I get back next week if ya like cause he ships heaps of cars back and forward.

Dont forget to get shipping insurance. They stowed in the roof of a GT falcon that he shipped from SA!

Hi mate Did you try CEVA formerly TNT.They are usually the cheapest and most reliable. Also if its drivable with no major problems Just get an unregistered vehicle permit and drive it back u can get them by phone if you have a fax or know anyone with one. Otherwise just get one at Canberra Motor Registry. Worth a look on there website I save heaps to drive my 1200 from Melbourne border to Northern NSW about 1200 K's

with petrol how it is i think transport would be better plus then you have the food accomadation aswell
1400 sounds like a real good price it was going to cost me that to get a coupe from adelaide to me and its half the distance

With petrol how it is it still only cost me $80 for 1200 K's but on looking at the map and the distance from Canberra to Perth Especially going across the Nulabour Car carriers are starting to look good Although the Dattos are very reliable thats a lot of driving. Good Luck Im going back to the CEVA recommendation.

That price seems a bit excessive to me, I went with CEVA for my ute and paid $1370, though that was totally enclosed transport from door in Perth (about 15 mins from city) to depot in Sydney. I think that CEVA were the cheapest in both enclosed and normal with normal about $800-$900.

There service was great, took delivery in about 3-4days (was quoted a max of 10), you can check on the cars progress on the net and insurance is standard. I got the car three days before last Christmas.

EDIT: Andy, almost all company's use a train from Perth to Melbourne and truck the rest...

Cost me arround $900 - Adeliade to Perth for my KB10,
picked up in adelaide droped at the depot here in perth.

I would have said arround $1200 would be a good price from canberra as it's a little further than adelaide but if it's all you can find go with it!
