Z struts have a different stub axle angle. In the Z they get the camber right by setting the towers closer together.
They give lots of positive camber using them in stock strut mounts.

I havent encountered any Z struts with a wider bolt spacing onto the steering arm
L18-B110 do you know which model uses a wider bolt spacing?

When it comes to brakes on stanza struts the cheapest and most effective bolt up brake conversion is the 270mm 240K disc with sumitomo 2 spot calipers. This combination can be used with 13" rims

Hey feral are you sure you can use the 270mm rotors with the sumi's on a stanza strunt:? because I have that same setup but with only the 253mm rotors and they don't have a lot of clearance?

I have the 510(1600) crossmember this sets the wheels out 10mm and the z struts reset the camber close to stock

Nutcase, your B210 is wider, and so the 510 crossmember fits. The B110 is narrower and doesn't fit without modification.

yup but the b310/210 (out of a 1981 210) controll arms that we put on my brothers 110 made it almost 1/2" wider and the camber went wild so we are thinking of the same swap in his as well

Oh yeah my datsun guru said the 510 x-member bolts into the 110 as well for the pb110 Excelent he should know he's done 3 of em'

i know ya can get a 120y crossmember into a 1200 with some modification, so im guessing if the 510 one goes straight into your 120y??? you have to modify it for a 1200

Sorry about that it should have read late 240K struts.

I will measure up some stanza/200B struts with this combo when I get some time.

Feral, The struts I've got with the wider bolt spacing are out of a 260Z 2+2. So I assumed all Z cars must use that wider spacing? I might go and measure them tonight.
