Well just to confuse you a little more. I have gotten involved with a guy who has designed and is building(or having built) another South African ECU. It's called the Joker, and he has a few different versions, but more specifically one that will do what you seek, and much more. Infact i haven't really seen anything else that can do everything it can do in one package. here is a list of it's features as quoted from his website.
* double shielded wiring looms
* wasted spark and multi coil ignition
* sequencial and batch sequencial injection
* All magnetic, hall or optical trigger configurations
* 8bit processor at 50 MIPS
* 2 x general purpose outputs for shift light, nos etc.
* Launch control
* load sites adjustable in 100rpm and 0.025 bar increments
* Easy to use 2D graph for map adjustments
* Adjustable dwell angle to set coil spark to optimum
* Realtime and offline tuning
* 4,6,8,10 and 12 cylinder applications
* Normally aspirated and forced induction ready
* Adjustable rev limiter
* Data logging
* Built in ignitors, no need for external ignitors or tp100
* Sensor inputs include MAP, air, water, lambda, voltages, TPS and engine speed
* Settable acellerator pump for smooth acceleration
* Uses factory OE trigger setups and sensors
* Easily flashable firmware upgrades
The unit is tiny, it'll fit into a empty 20's siggy packet, and has everything but the map sensor on-board. He says that he designed it this way, so that you can have the map sensor as close to the plenum as possible, to read the signals as fast as possible, and avoid the pressure drops in the often long thin piping. It costs as follows;
Joker Sequencial ECU 60-2 including 3BAR map sensor: 3378 ZAR = 457 AUD
Add to that some posting an packaging, and you have a full featured ECU, that has more loadsites, finer tuning and faster acting than most.
You can have a look at the unit here,
Joker ECU.
My car will soon be running one of these, with sequential injection and multi coil ignition.
