want/need a pair of 195 50 or 205 50 15 or similar size semi slicks or full slicks to use on the rear of my car for when i go drag racing

prefer cheap near dead but still good for a few runs kinda things as im only really going to need them for 5-10 runs so that i can actually use 1st and 2nd gear

so if anyone has any or knows anyone that has some that arent really good for circuit racing anymore let us know

can help with 14s mounted on rims for $120

car can only take 15s or bigger, dont really feel like pulling the rear brakes off for the drags

I just went through the same drama getting them for mine.

I managed to get 2 used 205/50/15's but ended up buying new 195/50/15's. It's hard to find them in the low profiles (195/50'). BEcause they aren't control tyres for anything.

You should be able to find 195 /55 /15 easy enough. there is much more selection available. They fit in 1200 wheel arches OK.
If you are after a full slick I would be looking for 185 /580 /15 in a dunlop formula R

really just after something that will provide more grip that a street tyre, guess i could just jack the rear of the car up for the day to fit tyres if i can only get bigger diameter ones

I have been running the 195 /55 /15 on my track coupe for years, I didnt have to jack it up and haven't had any rubbing issues either.
