Looks pretty good - I never had the chance to do a subject like that at high school - you'll get plenty out of it by the looks of it.

Ironically i am just dealing with this at the moment. We are offering it for the first time next year, as a Cert 1 course in Automotive, our students will now extend their year 9 and 10 Automotive studies and actually have the option to commence the course in Year 10 rather than Year 11. And if all goes to plan we will be offering Cert III Automotive next year also.

I did cert 2 automotive at school, in victoria, wasent a big fan of school and it made it more bareable, got some usefull knowledge ot of it. all depends on what you want to do, Half of school is useless unless you want to go to uni and into the white coller world of business. Maths, english, IT, and auto are the only classes I did in year 12, witch was the least I could do and still pass. and now I'm a few months from being a qualifide enginear, and theres more then enough money to be made for anyone with half a brain..

If only engineers got payed as well as we hoped when we were still at uni!

Doctors, lawyers, marketing, sales reps, IT developers.....all get way more $$$ than the humble engineer.

Although I think starting salary at lot of eng companies is now around $55K or so....
