Hi there. I need a part for the front right drum of my 1200 wagon. It is a little cam thing that adjusts the drum (not sure what it's called). The drum had seized and when i undid the adjusters it snapped. I called a brake joint today and they reckon you can't buy the part anymore. Can any1 tell me if this is true or does any1 have this part floating about? Would be much appreciatede as it will be ready for a roady as soon as this is done!
Cheers Ed

Are sedan drums the same ? We have a drum brake front end for a sedan. A pic would be good if possible just to be sure we are on the same channel.

There should be 2 17mm bolt head's on the rear of the drum top and bottom that hav a snail shell shaped thing on the inside of the drumm that the breakpads hav a tab that rest's on them, not sure if they can be removed entirely or if you need the whole backing plate?

Hmm um I would say they are the same. I don't have any photos. It's a cam looking thing about the size of a 50 cent piece and it has a stud coming out of it with thread to adjust the drum. Hope thats some help
