Cant be certain, but if your going to g to turbo it might be good as all the power is higher up in the revs anyway, would make creeping in trafick out of boost ####t as!

For street use, double that weight [6kg] is about right. The factory used heavy flywheels to help provide smooth running at idle & at low driving speeds & the heavier mass also helps the engine to 'hang on' when under load such as when climbing hills or even just taking off.

It doesn't mean that if an engine is turbo'ed it's power moves up the rev range Even an A14 with something like a CT9 Toyota turbo would make more power at around 2000rpm than a NA A14 at the same rpm, as the turbo is nice and small, and would be spooled by then. If you size your turbo correctly it will actually move peak power lower down the rev range than where the equivalent NA engine would have made it...

My motor is not an A series but its turbo'd and I was told NOT to lighten the flywheel to much as it would increase the contrast of lag and boost and make the car unpleasant to drive with out much real gain. The standard flywheel balanced will keep your acceleration nice and smooth, as your ride is a street car I wouldn't bother with it, spend the money on something else.
