My Datto Ute need advice

Hey guys i bought this datto off the net like 4 weeks ago

and shes not as quick as i would like give me some suggestions on what you think would make it go a little harder

ill put this stuff up as well so you dont have to go to the carsales website but i picked this little one up for $6000


1985 mod turbo charged datsun ute
2nd owner
original kms and motor rebuilt a14 head double value springs bigger valves 4 speed manual gear box
garrett t28 turbo off gti-r pulsar
custom intake manifold xf throttle body 550cc injectors
4 bosch coils
micro tech computer
serge tank 2 bosch fuel pumps all new fuel lines
front mount intercooler (hidden)
3" mandrel bent exaust with 3' dump pipe(not very loud)
bigger disk slotted brakes on front
coilovers in front
Auto metre tacho,boost,oil and water temp guages
bucket seats
kenwood head deck 2x6" speakers
sports stearingwheel
13"wheels with new chrome hubb caps and brand new white wall tyres
lowered
white soft top cover on tray
all new blinkers driving lights and tail lights
brand new still in the box tail gate in primer ready 2 spray
worked 3 speed automatic gear box avalible also but at an extra price..$2000

lol i put my foot into it and nearly put it through the floor she just doesnt have enough go like my cousins ####box 98 gsi integra goes past the datto

the possibilities are literally endless! depends on how much you have to spend? and what sort of performance and purpose of the car?

How much Boost are you running?

Looks like agro4's ute, it was in the classifieds on here a little while ago.

truth be known the car will eventually be a weekender and for cash wise in the ball park of 10k my first thoughts were get a 5 speed and get the microtech tuned and probably a smaller turbo say a gt25 because she doesnt really hit boost till late
at the moment 8 pound

well that would be a start, its hard to say exactly without knowing exactly what has been done to the motor internally, Long term you might want to think about getting another engine(A15) built that is worked(i.e bored and low compression pistons etc) that is built to handle more boost, more head work, the list goes on and on. You might want to simply crank the boost up and get it dyno tuned it the short term and see how that goes. You have some great potential with this set-up.
