wots the go with these electric superchargers on ebay? they claim HP gains but they cant be much can they?

oh i put one of these on my mini moke, i think i lost 20hp HAHA drained my battery tryin to turn the supercharger over

dnt waste ya money, go get ya wifes hair dryer and plug that into ya cig lighter and theres ya supercharge,

I think the link that Burk posted actualy proves their target market and therefore how well they work...

You need a injected 5.0 with a fake bug catcher and a Gilmer drive for them to work So then you can say it has a real supercharger and really look like a fackwit!

You joke about hair dryers, the Speed 'n Sound magazine here in ZA did something like that once. Only they took a gas powered leave blower and plumbed it into a 1.4i VW Golf. They took dyno readings before and after, and in the end they gained something like 10kw and 11nm, which isn't to shabby if you think that the thing only makes 55kw odd standard.

Can you imagine picking up a race, but you have to ask the opponent to allow you to start your forced induction device...
