if i was to run my fuel return line back to my surge tank insted of my main tank would i need a fuel cooler

I'm not convinced you would have to...at the moment.

I've run my return line back to the surge tank - but admittedly haven't run the car yet.

The EFI hardware surge tanks are designed with 4 outlets - which means you have to return to surge tank or have a spare outlet! This makes me think it is always better to return to surge (unless you don't need one and have an in tank setup)

i have built 5 turbod cars with no cooler and and never had any problems

i just run mine to the surge tank then into the tank,

unless ur racing big national events i cant see petrol makin that much difference,

and if its a daily, it dnt matter, coz if it did they would of been made on every new car.. thats my view
