Hmmmm 4agte 1000. Sounds good.

The main reason for asking is i have found a wicked little 1000 sedan with all the hard work done and just screaming for an engine conversion to finish her off.

Now all i have to do is convince the current owner to sell it to me for the price that i want to pay!!!!

Trav

28cm wide and 45 cm long Transwarp 11 electric motor,
1000 lbs of torque no gearbox,
no transmission or tunnel changes
just two piece tailshaft with support,
150kg of lithium batteries,
11 second quarter mile,
60-100 klm range with short recharge times with onboard charger.

Keep your original gearbox mounts, keep your original a10 running gear in the shed.
Invest in all alloy Winters quickchange rear end, flip the lid at the back and change ratio for the track then flip it back for the road.

5 cents per 100klm of combined battery and electricity costs.

Just an alternative to think about.

do a coilover shock conversion and then you can cut up that crossmember up as much as you want

And all for the low low price of around $20K installed!

Bah just keep a A series in it! Mine has enough trouble keeping traction with a mild A15 and 205s! Mild meaning NO headwork!
And that way you dont ruin the best aspect of the 1000... the light weight!
