Jake,

What's dynamat? Is that an acoustic material.

You doing all the paintwork yourself?

I have completely stripped the B10 here and I was just deciding whether to take the entire interior out (i.e dash and all). After seeing this I think I might just do it.

yeah chris its a thermal and sound proofing that make your panel rock hard, it comes in small sheets about 30 x 50cm i purcased the 30 sq ft pack which cost about $250au if i can remember correctly.

taking the interior out and pulling all the old heat/ sound proofing up showed a whole heap of rust that i never would have known of otherwise.

and the struts with the r32 slotted RDA disks with the r32 calipers are fitted(temporary-still need a clean up). this is al mounted to some moddified s13 coilovers with 225lbs king springs. ive used s13 lower control arms with r31 radius rods. i dont think 13s or even 15s on on the cards anymore.

heres a small update... progress seems to be moving very slowly but its the very small body touchs that are taking up alot of time which provide very boring photos, the ute will be in the spray booth this weekend. yay.

heres a few of the panels that rocked up, i got 2 bonnets 3 doors and 2 front guards. one guard was crushed in transit and is unfixable.

heres the dynamat all layed down, i have covered the front firewall, floors, doors, rear firewall and roof, im just waiting on a couple more sheets to do the kick panel area.

heres a picture of the new maddat brake kit installed which wasnt as bolt on as i expected, and also a picture of the engine bay tidied up with the bosche coil packs

this picture gives you an idea of the ride height. the rear end will be made to match. i estimate that its about a 2.5 inch drop at the front. it looks very tough

this setup requires very little work. all you need to do is shorten the link rods and then make a mounting plate for the pins to lock into(piccy will be up soon)
