You really ought to come to Rabaul, we can sink a carton 500m's from the volcanoes edge and watch the eruption! EDIT: And it is seriously good fun, massive bangs and booms, a little bit of fireworks. Hmm more like a kilometre away, 500m starts getting too hot.

Madang is a really neat little place, lots of little drinking holes. Whatever you do DO NOT STAY AT COASTWATCHERS HOTEL. It is a total dump. I reccomend Madang Resort, that's a really neat place. Be prepared to bash the wallet though.

Staying in Moresby hey? Poor bugger.

yeah im staying a madang resort again, its really nice there. wont be able to leave madang once im there tho cos im working most likely day on day off. it should be about the 10th when i get to madang and will be there till about the 20th of november

last year when i was in png i flew out to some island, it might even be rabaul. we landed in the centre of the volcano on the island, it was sweet. heres a piccy that i took.
