Hi guys, sorry I haven't got around to sorting thru my box of photos yet. The systems I suggested on this thread are for those who can't afford an injected system and are happy to forgo max performance to save some bucks.
For the turbo set-up I did it all myself. I used a secondhand Landi system from a 3.9 EA Fairmont. Even the tank fit! This system has the Landi control box which reads info from an O2 sensor which I had to install into the exhaust system. I did find the venturi from this system too restrictive and ended up running the turbo with no waste-gate at all to compensate. This car was amazing, awesome economy and could pull 200 easy.
On the supercharged 4AZGE car I used a huge secondhand venturi from a wrecker and the rest was pretty much new. I did some of the install but the garage that was certifying it did the most. They were really good and recommended which converter to run etc etc. This car was straight gas and had heaps of lowdown and midrange but ran out of legs at 160. Looking back maybe the converter was too small. It was also suprizingly thirsty for a small motor but it did demand to be driven hard.
