thinking of selling my a12 GX (i think)

Hey guys, im thinking about upgrading my engine, so wondering what my a12 is worth?

it a GX (pretty sure) and has a has a GX head (pretty sure) with twin sidedraft delortos. just repainted. engine is as new inside and done very few hours.

What is it worth? wondering if i should upgrade or not. Chreers

could just be an a14/a15 head on an a12 does it have dble valve springs and does it have any castings on the head?

yes it has double valve springs, and the only castings on the head say JAPAN and NISSAN both are under the rocker cover

sounds like a GX head to me! are there any markings on the block to indicate that it's a GX block?

i wasnt aware of any markings or differences to the block.
just a different cam.

yeah your right pepper! just checked in WIKI and Block crank and rods are basically the same as the A12. Only differences are longer duration cam and higher compression ratio in some engines, and also the water pump inlet pipe for the carbie cooling system.

not buy me, if there were holes, it looks like there are slight marks there on it but they might have just been from the gasket. but if they were welded its a bloody good job
