Thanks guys,

It certainly was a handful to drive. The next step in development is adding a watts link to the rear with adjustable roll centre. A big part of the problem at the moment is that the rear roll centre is too high.

The engine was awesome, once we do some more tuning and play with the cam timing, it should come on even earlier.

The great thing was, the engine did not skip a beat all weekend - a very new concept for me! It was strong and pulled like a train for all three days.

yeah saw you mention that in the dyno thread. should be awesome with some fine tuning!

sounds like a great first outing anyway. you made it to the final of the IPRA Nationals and no dramas with the new engine.

what diff type and ratio do you use?

The Diff ratio was 4.11, although I am now looking at going to something more like a 3.7..... this may also help with the power down by using the torque of the engine more so than it is now.

The diff is a NIZMO LSD...... I am hoping to be able to repair it. If it can be repaired, I will probably sell it off - with the axles to suit and replace with something a little stronger (hopefully).

Something else to keep in mind, the car comes on boost before it starts getting noisy. When the engine starts sounding "angry" the waste gate is open. The reason the tone changes so uch is the screamer pipe off the external gate .... I love that Sound! It finally sounds like a race car!
