Hi rafels. long time, no hear. Yes, go with the original type chrome bumpers it will look good. Unfortunately we can't get them here in USA, but new ones are sold in Australia.

For lowering there are three main options:

1. Lowering blocks. Quick and inexpensive. Work well for a street car, but not the best for circuit racing.
2. Cut-down springs (or new lowering springs). Probably the best method, the only method for the front.
3. Reverse-leaf pack. My 1200 has this, main leaf is put on upside down and clamps the other leafs tight. This is a no-cost option but makes the spring setup very stiff.
