It's likely to be your idle control solenoid, or that small cylinder shaped thing with the green plastic on the end - Or what is controlling it.

It's on the inlet manifold in the middle on the right.

It could get stuck open, I know the stepper motors on the SR's that control the idle are prone to playing up.

what tacho are you using? and what does it idle at before it goes up? i had a similar thing,, but i have no AAC or FICD solenoid, mine idles low when cold, but goes to the right rpm when warm. like kegs said is your idle switch and throttle sensor working or adjusted properly.

why does everyone immediately head for the electrics
is the cable sticking?
do you have the water running through the throttle body to prevent icing?
is the throttle plate all gungy with crud?
start with the basics
dazza
