a mate at school offered his brand new flattops to me for $100 a while back, was thinking of getting them but ya need to bore out ur head and stuff dont ya?

na no boring out the head the only thing that really neccasery is valve reliefs but someties flat top a series pistons are just normal wones shasved down with out dish
wat head are you running and wat block

79mm bore in an a14 will take the cc out to =1509cc
79mm bore in an a15 will take the cc out to
=1607cc

wonder wat compression ratio these would give

I wouldn't think it could be repaired. Probably worthwhile getting a replacement.
