Tons of old dats @ wreckers now F10,210,310,510,610,710,Z's,etc. Anyone know off hand what I can grab for my sedans? Will go back tomorrow. Also, tons of CA16/18/20, KA24, A12-15.....let me find my list. This place turns cars over fast, so I have to MOVE.

What's with that F10?! I've seen two in twenty years. I think it's ugly, but when you look @ the mechanicals, it's a trip! What's with that fan blowing @ the carb? And one crazy oil pan & transaxle........ I'm looking for BOLT ON improvements. No time now for fabrication. Disks, struts, engine,5 spd, etc. I took down two pages of various measurements of some 40 cars. Now I'll compare them to the 1200. I haven't had a 1200 for 15 years, so I have to relearn this stuff.

Make sure you get the electronic distributor, coil and hunk of wiring from a 210 (B310) A14/A15 engine. This is a must for an A-series engine.

The 50amp alternator from a 510/620 will bolt right in. Although a newer one with solid-state internal regulator would be even better (but I don't know which one is a bolt-on).

From a B-210, get the plastic glovebox and plastic air vent ducts ... both are direct replacements for the crummy ones in the 1200.

Oh, and 3-point retracting seat belts from a B-210 or 210 (?). These are bolt-in for a 1200.

Brake pads. Get lots of like-new brake pads.

Not 100% positive, but pretty sure the 510 has a 35amp alternator. Us 510 guys get our 50ampers from the 240Z

Thanks a ton. Hopefully I can, through my mistakes & triumphs of wrecking yard diving give back some interchange info. On a side note..... how the hell are you guy's stuffing the CA into the 1200??? From my measurements it looks DAMN tight! Thanks AGAIN!

Yeah, the 50amp might be fairly rare. 510s came with 35 or 50 amp alternator. Look for "RT50" or something like that on the alternator, there is a topic in here somewhere with the exact number.
