dattos are light and its a shame when something heavier than 100kg is put up front. Stick to 4cyl for sure there are plenty to choose from.

well look at it this way if someone restores a datto and dumps a v6 in it then thats one less datto thats going to rust out!

been on the street daily for 5 years!!!love it!handles fine...for about 5k how you gonna go faster?????nothing more fun than an elephant on a skateboard!I have let others drive this ute ..and they all are blown away.why wouldn't you do this to a datto?they are not worth restoring standard as power is poor,plus,cops defect any modded datto anyway,no matter how much you spend..and rust........

how much of a hassel is converting a FWD motor to RWD? doesnt toyota have a lil 2.5L quad cam V6 in the older camrys? or is that 3.5 i cant remember...
