thats alrite ... a bloke i work was after a trailer for ages so he got hold of this bloke on the trading post who had exactly what he wanted. he called this bloke up and organised a price and said he would leave to pick it up straight away. so he drove up and he got about two streets from this blokes house when he got a call saying that the trailer had just been sold for $50 more.

what ever happened to a phone call saying "i have a bloke here who is offering a little bit more would you like to match that or should i sell it to him" at the very least. but i belive that if you make a deal with someone even if its verbal then i should be respected.

yes a verbal agreement should at least hold the item giving the buyer a chance to match any other offers..... but really there shouldnt be any other offers if the seller has told the buyer its sold.... does that make sense cause ive had some scotch

perfect ... if you were standing in front of the bloke or talking on the phone, there should be no difference.

In this case the seller should tell the person first one to pay gets it. If you say to some one its sold to them and come pick it up then sell it on them thats just not cricket!

Open wide then Mik.... SICKO!!!

Don't think I am having a go at you Mik about the sale. It's about the seller remember. Although, the death of a project is on your hands. You have 120Y JDM Van blood on your fingers.
