my sob story is that i am fat and sunburnt.... its a bad combination..... especially getting in and out of a black 1200 ute with racing buckets

OK I'll jump on the bandwagon. About 12 months ago there was a really tidy original 1200 coupe with 106,000 miles on the side of Mountain Highway with a big sign on it : $400. I jumped on my motorbike, went to the ATM and went and gave the guy the cash. That evening I got a bullsh1t phone call saying that there was a mistake and the car had aleady been sold by another family member and to come get my $400 back. I was so angry I wanted to commit murder. Sellers like this are filthy rats in my opinion. If he wanted top dollar, go on ebay and let the best man win. As you guys have said, sold means SOLD.

Sorry it happened to you Rev. PS REV. I take it you got the booster OK??

Not that I want to split hairs... But if you actually read what was written to start with I was pissed that I was stitched when we had an agreement over the phone. Old mate knew I was willing to take a risk as I had explained that I would regret it if I didn't get them now that I've made my mind up on the rim choice, I had the quotes, I'll deal with my own choice if I live to regret it.

If he had just said 'I couldn't be fcuked packaging them so you can pay an extra $50!' then I could have said no. But what pissed me off is the way he handled it. As I recall, whatever dosh was involved is our own buisness but when he says I'll send my bank details and nearly 24 hours later when I call to find out what the go was, guess what. G'day made, hows it goin? Good... Well I'm going to ruin your day. I sold them last night.

Nice.

But thanks for putting that up. It was always just to be that I am sick of people not keeping their word.
