8:3:1 is what my mechanic recommended you can get thicker head gaskets or high rise ones using 2 is dodgey but it works.

depends on what boost you are running also

lower comp essential allows you to run more boost before detonation. but lower comp is bad for off boost performance

for a street car maintaining compression and keeping boost lower makes for a much nicer car

I am still waiting for a fuel regulator so i have just got a fuel pump feeding it to a 38 dgas blow through and am not sure what boost i am running at as i still need a boost gauge. I have a IHI RHF5 turbo from a merc diesel i think, but the car has quite a pull till it starts suffering from feul starvation,i think i'm running too lean?

is it blow through or suck through setup

you NEED a boost gauge straight away

what fuel pump are you using?

if your using blow through the boost pressure may rise above the fuel pressure and be essentialy pushing the fuel back up the fuel line

pictures of the setup and a hell of a lot more description are required

Bought a A15 Turboed from a friend which he had in his UTE for two year. It is fitted with E15T (Exa Turbo) pistons. Boost 1 Bar with KKK Turbo from some VW. When i picked this motor up it was stil running good. Now it is patient for my resto to get done.

well I Have had good luck with mine, Also running Langley dome pistons and 40thu chopped rods, with 2 head-gaskets.... bin boosting 14psi into it ever since day 1 and I'm going on 3.5 years now, not a single problem from it. just make sure you torque the head properly, and do at least 2 re-torques with about a weeks interval while you are running the motor in...
