Just how little space have you got from your tyres to your guards? You obviously can't get away with 2mm but 10mm may be ok.

maybe about 10mm? I'll know for sure once I get my diff back in this weekend. I actually shortened the BW diff about 15mm narrower than the standard diff because the wheels I have sat right out to the very edge of the guard which meant i had about 15mm of travel before the tyre hit the door jamb bit that runs inside the wheel tub. So I think I have about 10mm clearance to the door jamb bit if I've measured right.
My wheels are 14x7 +10 ssr starsharks with 195/45/14 tryes

In my previous post, space wise i meant the room between the diff and the wheel tub to fit the panhard.

195/45s won't need a panhard I'd say. Unless you are running it at the bump stops.

Especially if you've centred them in the wheel arch, and rolled the edge of the guard.

I'm running quite low, it doesn't actually appear to me that the problem would be the edge of the wheel arch but the door jamb part that protudes into the wheel tub.

If Its to tight for space to get the panhard rod without cutting out the wheel tub then I won't run a panhard, and I guess i'll find out :)

evey 1200 sedan scrubs on the door jam bit once its lowered...not a whole lot you can do about it if you want to keep the wheels filling out the guards
at least its a nice smooth surface that its going to scrub on

yeah, I know, It looked absolutely p0rn with the wheels right out to the very outer edge of the guard, but scrubing would drive me insane. I can always add a spacer if I decide I want to scrub my tyres on the door jamb for the sake of looks
