now on ebay decided to keep the webbers and put them on my new project

BUT
i highly doubt you will get 1k for a motor that still needs probably about another 1k to get it complete and thats without having having to buy twin carbs to get the most out of that cam
so add atleast another 1500 for the accesories
so thats a 3.5k a12 if i was a buyer id rather wait around for a worked a15/a14 for half that price with everything on it ready to go

yes im with d1000w.
it has no inlet manifold,
no exhaust manifold,
no carbies,
valves need to be cut down and fitted,
needs valve seals fitted,
and the entire engine is still needing to be totally assembled,
then you need to source alt,fuel pump,oil pump.
a grand for a box of parts is a bit steep.

pay machenic to put it together $250-350
gx weber manifold say$50-300
twin 40mm webers$250-350
extracters$50-$150
say id say another $500 with out carbs and it would be complete
the only reason i put it at $1000 is i dont want to put some redicless low price and then get 1 bid and sell it for like $50 its stupid how u cant put a reserve on parts auction

Spenc I am surprised you find it acceptable not only to provide a vague and unclear description of the item (on this forum), but you also think it acceptable to change the description of the very same engine and advertise it a second time on the forum.

theres over $600 worth of goodies(parts)
theres over $500 worth of machening done
+ other stuff i think its a very good price along with alot of other peaple on other forums i was warned not to put it on this site as its know as a kiddy club/tyre kickers site you ovesely never worked in the engine building game have you

If you have the knowledge of the engine building game then why don't you complete building this engine and see what money you can get for it? im sorry for having a go at every one but i think $1000 is a good price for it yer your a15 might beat it but this is rare iv lowred the price on the engine to $800 starting bid with barely will cover the cost of wot it cost to build and i have a gew rally guys interested in it so it should be gone soon
