Is A12 block casting same as A15

I am thinking about putting an A15 into a Morris Minor. I know an A12 fits without any problems. What I want to know is the external dimensions of the A15 block the same especially where the engine mounts bolt on. Also is the oil filter attachment and crank pulley the same? These two have the least clearence in a MM.
Thanks

No its shorter, and earlyer 12's had the dizzy up the front..
Could be made to fit, The mounting points on the block are about 2" further back... edit: look at the mod's required to fit on into a 1200 in the tech section<-- probly need to do similer things to the mounts in a moris?

same length, but A15 is taller by about 3/4 inch. Blocks are definitely different. Motor mounts are different place between Datsun 1200 A12 and all newer motors including A15.

there's an early and late style engine mount position, for the A12,
a14/15 are the late model setup, should have no problem in height for the Morri...

A mate of mine put an A15 into a morrie,no probs with clearance at all, simply put it in and built the engine mounts around everything whilst it was still on the chain.

If the A12 you're already running is the later type with dizzy mid block rather than at the front the A15 will bolt stright in only diff being the height.
