Our country has suffered and still is suffering in all possible ways.

Its a very sad tragedy specially for these millions of wildlife as well as our people. I agree these Arse-o-nists should be dealt by the victims not the court. The penalties are too soft.

I doubt it will be composing any songs of happiness in the near future.

There were 25 000 people that had to flee. The entire town was flattened.

Of the 14 000 expatriates living there in 1994, there are now 13. The volcano is still erupting, google earth Rabaul and you'll see the devil spewing over my beloved town.

Anyway cut to the point. The one particularr thing I have in common with the victims is our promise to return, rebuild and rejuvenate.

It will happen in this situation. Rabaul however is desolate, with only six major businesses in operation.

Another appauling fact is the looters. I heard rumour of a looter being caught in one of the northern fire affected suburbs that got dealt with by the public. A massive beating ec. Still got off light if you ask me. Bring back public hangings I say.
