i would say the gearbox would last depending on how u treat it (droping clutch at hi rpm no good lol) i will send anywhere but it also has dump pipe and exhaust flange so it may weigh a little.

theres more to it then people relise. u always seem to run in a problem here and there but is not that hard if u are confident.

u need a oil feed which u can take from the oil pressure switch (just be sure to still have a oil pressure switch) and u need to modify the sump for turbo oil return. u cant really go draw through as it will start to destroy ur turbo seals. blow through is easy to build but harder to setup (although its done regulary) and efi is awesome but it can be expensive for parts and tunning.

if it were me id take the wiring, turbo, ecu, injectors and dizzy of a E15ET and transplant it to a A series (very easy) all u have to do is fit the e series dizzy to the aseries and make ur own manifolds ect and the ecu should run the A series motor. u can pikup all the E series parts real cheap. it only cost me $300 for the whole motor (minus turbo) but including loom, ecu ect. i have suggested this b4 hand but no one has ever done it i dont think

my bad on the sc14 ... not much difference between the two only one's a lil bigger. any way to set up a supercharger all you need to do is mount the blower then run a belt (double belt harmonic balancer) and an enclosed air box to mount on the carby. and of course boost prep the carby of choice. and some superchargers you dont need oil lines

with the turbo (blow thru) you need to have a turbo exhaust manifold, new exhaust system, enclosed air box, boost prep carby, run oils lines. in my personal opinion the super charger is a much better option because you dont get boost lag, they dont cost as much to set up and i like that you can run a big toothed belt and they sound cool lol

and i second the gearbox comment, if you drive it properly you can run a weak gearbox behind a strong motor. if you drive it like you stole it then you will start breaking things

ive seen it set up a couple of ways ... either mounted to the motor on the dizzy side or mounted next to the radiator on the carby side. as for the airbox its the same as a blow thru turbo, just an airtight box bolted where the air filter normally sits

as for the twin side draghts a blow through set up can be done like that with an air tight box again

you mount the charger so that it lines up with your double pulley ... you may need a relief valve on your line as well but depends on how much boost you run. you will need to prep your carby for boost as well. but apart from that you should be alright unless anybody wants to add to that
