U could try a 1000 ute diff they are fair strong i welded(locked) mine and I got an a15 in front of it and it it has held up fine but not sure if it would hold turbo

Thats a pic of what an A14 turbo does to standard 1000 diff(H145), Two axels before it suffered the same fate before this one!

I've just put a 1200 ute diff in my 1000, it is a fair bit wider, but should be able to handle alot more abuse.

You scored well! absolute bargin! are all the 1000's complete? post some pics when you get a chance!

Nice score mate, they should come up well. Alice Springs would be the perfect place to store cars because it's so humid and hardly rains.
