You guessed it I am a farscape fan, but this hitachi carb for the a12 engine is driving me nuts. I completely tore it apart and cleaned it up and now it doesn't respond to the idle screw. I have it down as hard as I feel necessary to close it and the car idles nicely, but won't do much else. While I wait for my tbi to get assembled I would like to drive the car. any suggestions?

What kind of a problem are you having?
You say it doesn't respond to the idle screw. Do you mean the idle mixture or idle speed screw?
