haha i got ripped off with my blocks damn ebay

im not sure how long its going to take to get running... motor 1 will be getting torn down for a possible rebuild with the addition of some tomei cams, motor 2 and gearbox will be used for test fitting to get the gearbox crossmember sorted so very shortly i will be pulling my seats and carpet out to chop the trans tunnel out, then fix the crossmember, weld the trans tunnel then try to remount my seats... this is all leading to the set back i am faced with at the moment and that is finding some rims with the correct offset to fit over my calipers... im very keen to get it off the jack stands for a while

i have an auto-elec organised which i will be able to mostly pay with bottles of scotch which is good but i may be heading to the RAAF in may which will set me back time wise but within the next 4 weeks i hope to have the first trial fitment done of motor 2 and box

so far the lowering blocks have been the biggest pain in the ass to fit but after having the ass end up in the air for so long when i put it back on the ground it looks so much lower and sweeter

TRX rims do fit!!! soon i will be able to put the front end on the ground again too!!!

next on my list of things to do is chop the trans tunnel, trial fit of motor and box, secure gearbox crossmember, lip/flare wheel arches, fit brake booster.... i want to do at least a couple of these things before i go away for basic training in less then a month

trial fitment 1 has been a failure... if only i had a car hoist.

tomorrow ill rearange my strapping and hopefully it will give me the angles i need to slip the bad boy in otherwise i will have to remove the gearbox and do the fitment in 2 stages.... not real fun trying to lift a sr20 5 speed off the ground whilst laying on your back lol

mental note... next time doing this conversion tilt tray car and motor to mates workshop and use car hoist for this bit, everything else has been ok so far lol.
