Who?..........Bilstien is a damn joke. It's almost worth checking out their site just to see how full of themselves they are. F#@*ing worthless. ........Koni on the otherhand is so full of info, it's going to take me 2 days to get through it all. No apps for 1200's either. ...........Who else makes struts/suspensions?

It's in the Part Sources tech section article:

Ground Control
Performance suspension parts for 1200
- I.T./S.P. LEGAL COIL-OVER SPRING KITS $199 pair
- Road Race Camber/Caster plates (some cutting needed) $265 pair

Way hey! at last, someone who agrees with me!

I can NOT make the damn things work, and they're as pricey as real shocks.
Now Koni or Spax on the other hand, bolt the thing in, adjust it to suit, end of story.

Ground Control for one, and Ermish Racing for another. Just have to look around a bit.

Hell just try a local racing shop. We have several here locally that keep these type of parts in stock.

It also helps if you go ahead and step up to '79-'82 210 (B310) struts/suspension. Parts for these are easier to find since they are a similar diameter housing to the 510/Z stuff. The 1200 struts are tiny and it's getting hard to find other stuff that fits.

I use bilstein for circuit struts and have nothing but good results with them. I also use koni and have good results. I find it takes a bit more homework to set up bilsteins but the results are consistent damping and long life. I still have a set I fitted to my stanza in 1985 and have had them regassed and new oil only two years ago.

I am interested to hear of the problems people have had with Bilsteins.

I also agree there is no excuse for arrogance or ignorance (especially when combined). Luckily our Bilstein people do not suffer either condition.

I was ragging on their website - WORTHLESS! It actually has a place to click & re-watch their meager and way too long home page opening. Huh? ...........Hey Gary P, can you send in some pics or sketches?

Hey Erol, yep, Bilsteins can work very well, but not within a 6 foot radius of me!!.
I think my problem is that i've never had anyone who understood what I want when I've had Bilsteins done, and as a result I end up taking them back, spending more money on them and getting annoyed! (or putting in Konis)
