i just put in a 120y (jap spec) bar in my 82 ute, 20mm dia by my vernier calipers, the bar is about 30mm wider in total, but the D bushes line up perect. you will need to use the 120y bushes and you can keep the 1200 metal caps. the olny problem i found is the middle of the bar come very close to the sump and needed a masage with a ball peen hammer to give it clearence, when the suspention cycles up, the front of the bar will come down and hit the bottom front corner of the sump.

If you need to make a stablizer bar a bit wider to match longer LCA`s You can heat the front bends with gas torch until only very dull red and bend them out to suit the greater width requirement. while the bend is still very hot dip it into a tub of oil(used sump oil is fine) to re temper the bar.
I have done this several times on front bars for improved production racing and had no problems. (The cars are front runners and have had the bars on for years)

Simon.

EDIT. Hint: Mark out with chalk on your shed foor the shape you need the bar to be and use this as your template when bending.
