I'll start shopping airfare. Don't I have to be a SCCA member to help out? Any other racing that weekend, like American LeMans? I'd pay for a job @ Speed channel!

There are 24 races Sept. 19, 20, 21 to crown 24 amatuer National Champions. The races go from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm each of those 3 days.
Sept 15-18 are qualifying days. I usually get to Mid-Ohio around Sept. 12 and stay till the 20th.
SCCA Membership is NOT required, UNLESS you want to work in the pit lane. There are lots of good spectating areas. Peter

Hey Pete, any events her in California? I will like to help out, for free, no problemo, I want to help out with the Datsuns, anything, wash windows, no matter, as long as I can see the Dattos in hot action.

There are a couple of racers in San Deigo than run 1200's I think Rob Walker may still run a 1200 in H production. There is a gent who runs a 510 in California Rally Series events go to Californiarallyseries.com click on pace notes, that is the online forum. Post that your a Datsun nut who wants to help crew , they will hook you. Next Rally is on pavement I plan to run my 1200.
Also a couple of 1200's run HSR WEST - they run at Willow Springs , Fontana and Button Willow. Also check Cal Club region of SCCA - go to SCCA.ORG and there should be a link.
