Yeah I have a strut brace. It's only going to be noticable if you were running harder spring rates (ie: 250lbs+ or something) because the force generated form the outside strut of the corner your turing into will generate force (and flex )up through the body. Our cars are not exactly the strongest in that area. You'll see top notch racecars actually incorporate a strutbar of sorts into their rollcage. The good ones run onto any suspension mounting areas aswell in an effort to stiffen the entire chassis up.

On a sidenote The old setup I was using (stanza struts, camber tops, longer balljoints, kings springs lowered stanza springs) was only getting me 1.5 degrees of negative camber, max. Now with my other set of springs it has bumped it to that magical 3 degreees! I think the wheel aligner may have reduced my castor

sparkyza1 the questions you have asked here will help me a lot.
I started competing in the WBMK Gymkhanas this year down in Cape Town with a Datsun 1400 LDV, will figure out what they call them on these forums.

I'm suffering from the same issues than you currently. Suspension is way to soft.
I'm busy with some experiments on the back suspension, will test it out this weekend at Mykonos. There will be a lot of flame throwing g to my side about the mods, but somewhere I need to start if the budget is limited.

Have a look at www.race-tech.co.za for more detail.

Hope to meet you sometime.

Thanks for the great website guys, finding it very useful.

Thanks for the heads up. Was thinking of getting a set of threaded tubes from http://theovalracingshop.co.za/ @ R800 about.

Anywhere on the forum I can go and have a look at the specs of your A15 motor?

my car has a strut brace and i removed it to paint it and when i drove it without it it actually had a noticeably higher amount of body roll. not sure what the spring rate is but it's relatively stiff.

levey that looks very nice and clean.

Is it bought of the shelf or made, if possible do you have some autocad drawings.
Will save me a crap load of time.

I met sparkyza1 this weekend, we had a lot of chats about the front suspensions, and we both are in need of this camber plates.

Especially the ute, it lacks in the front suspension side.
