Hi guys,

the heater tap on my '74 120Y decided to leak and give my feet a bit of a unexpected wash.

where can i get a replacement heater tap from?

i'd prefer to get an original replacement, new or in good used condition.

i've tried repco and the like and they can only offer me a universale unit that wont fit up anything like the original one.

does anyone know if the local nissan parts dealer still stocks these?

any help would be much appreciated.

Nissan probably has them. The B110 is NLA, but 240Z is still available.

the other option is to replace the two lengths of hose either side of the tap with a single piece so the coolant always cycles. Should be okay till summer, but it gives you more time to find a new tap.

You could try a pneumatic tap fitting. You can get all sorts of fittings and then you would have a manual tap. It may or may not work. Nothing to lose. Except money of course... And mabey some skin off your leg...

Nissan Japan still have them. There is a slightly difference between original and new style:
