Can someone shed some light, I see some adjustable camber plates come with a bearing at the top and others not, is this necessary or a nice to have.

without that little eyelet bearing the strut top plates would be breaking, one job they do is they're supposed to keep the shock absorber nut from getting worn out when teh suspension is changing geometry. With my current setup I'm still using standard spring retainers so they have the benifit of having a flat bearing with them but with some of more dedicated setups they're just relying on the eyelet bearing up top?. I could see a second bearing be thrown in to help things out but it would have to acceptably fit in the space and do it's job otherwise it's just adding wasted height.

thx, will start sourcing a set in SA to use for designing autocad drawings of camber/caster plates.

Does anyone perhaps have some drawings?

This is to sparkyZA1, racetech and Rezlo.

Please, please first get permission from a guy on this site called Andos. I got from him some drawings he made in a CAD program. I needed to really beg him as he spend lots of hours engineering these plates. He is a suspension engineer and made some adjustable camber plates for the 1200. I didn't get time yet to make them for myself and also unfortunately lost the bearing code of the bearing that needs to be pressed in, but we can figure out at a local bearing shop what will work. Alot of people on this site bought these plates from him and installed them with success.
I am willing to mail the drawings to you guys to make and install and also let me know how you fitted them in as I really didn't get time yet to make and install them.

I would like to say that I respect his decision that I would not distribute it without his knowledge and approval due to the hard work he put into designing and making them.
Please, again, email or PM him first and let him come back to me then we can talk further.

I managed to get the bearing code.
Please keep me updated on his answer as I am now also part of the ZA team to put some effort into it and fit mine.

Thanks for the reply levey

Because of me living in South Africa, I asked Andos if he would mind sending me the CAD drawings and design as it would be cheaper for me to make them here for myself than buying and shipping to South Africa. South African rand is not one of the best in the world Thanks to him he didn't mind and gave it to me. I just had to promise by mail that I would not distribute or sell and make money from them. I totally respect his decision that is why I unfortunately can't send it to my fellow South African mates without his knowledge and approval.
