All powering ahead, new motor is in, completely rebuilt as detailed below, 32/36 Weber installed and electronic distributor to go back in today. I'll put some more pics up tonight of the fresh motor. Once i grab my hardlid in the next month or so i''ll get started on the paint and panel work.

Add 1 completely rebuilt engine, stock specs, one electronic distributor and a nice little 32/36 weber and here is the result. This will be the temp setup until the mild motor goes in later this year.

looks like u bought the maddat tailgate too?
im wanting to buy the hard lid too but it sucks because i dont have an original tailgate n it sits about 20mm below the tub of the ute. therefor i have to buy a $550 origianl tailagte from maddat before i buy the hard top :(

Nup, just the standard taiwanese copy, it was an absolute perfect fit. And for $120 i'm not complaining.
