it's jett hard to have any of them tuned in WA, in Japan the Mikuni's are king.
Weber's were the go in Australia, and Dellorto's seem to be somewhere in between..

I just got a portable Air/Fuel ratio meter from www.innovatemotorsports.com. I used it to jet my Weber 32/36 last week! It uses a wide band O2 sensor to measure your mixture in real time. You just need to weld in a sensor bung in your exhaust just after the collector(the meter comes with a bung and a plug) This is one of the few affordable meters that's supposed to be really accurate.

that wouldent help to much with twin webers, as it dosent do each cylinder indevidualy unless you put a bung in each primery header.

Not exactly... With twin carbs, they are jetted identically. If it is running rich, you need to lean out both carbs, as each cylinder is(should be)identical to the others. For twins or tripples of course you will also need a syncroniser to balance the idles and mixture adjustments..

It was just under $300 USD. About the same as 1 Dyno session here, then you've always got it...

usually the problem with sidedrafts needing retuning is in garbage linkage systems.
the jets havent changed in size have they!
flex and wear in linkages should be checked before blaming the carbs
have a look at a six pack charger (aussie car not US car) they have a big solid setup and give little trouble
chrysler flew an entire car to italy with no manifolds and had weber design the entire manifold and carb setup
dazza
