I have finally got my new motor into Betty. Should fire her up tomorrow if all goes to plan. I was looking at fabricating a fan shroud for the radiator, it being a bit warmer out here and wanting to pull a bit more air. Your opinions please.
Oh! DatsAndy that ceramic clutch plate is a tight fit on the spigot shaft isn't it! Little bugger gave me some grief but I done got it!

I fitted the factory shroud to mine, and cannot tell any difference. It still heats a bit more than usual on a hot day.

buy a good 12v fan for the back of the radiator (thermo Fan) that should ease your troubles. Fan shroud are more to protect your hands lol especially with the stock fan.
You cuold possibly make one out of fibreglass?
