I have been told that Bluebird rear discs will bolt straight onto my ute's diff. Is this correct? If not, what is involved?
Thanks Matty

yeah will do

only catch is that the axles are diffrent lengths, if you get the bluey disc over drum setup (series 2 and 3 bluey or trx bluey) from say a wrecker and its still on the axle you need to take it all off the axle and out it on your ute diff axles. this requires a 4 ton press and about $75 for new wheel bearings

and expect your rear wheels to lock up first when you jump on the pedal - which means you won't pass a pink slip. The solution that i am going to go with is probly get a limiting value for the rear brake line - about 150$AU i think...

hehe,

i found this out recently, but was hoping to get myself one before i told everyone in case everyone else beat me to them,

now why wouldnt you get a brake bias valve off the back of a volvo 144 gt deluxe, it has two under the back and the wreckers only ask $6, it takes a little bit of modifying to set it up with a tap type arrangement, as standard you need to put an allen key down it and turn

be carefull other volvos have them under the back but are not adjustable, ill try to get pics of the two types to make it easier for you guys,

please, for this tip, can someone please send one my way if they get two, i would really love one or even two of these for myself, my bro in law mannaged to find a couple of them but he gave them to other people, saying he would give me the next one, i wasnt complaining on the day because he gave me a spare set of hi-lux 4 spot calipers but now we are struggling to find another one
