that vannette one would be sweet as. i have to see what is around that i could put on it.. and also see if i need papers so i can have a filter hanging out or what i need to get a scoop on..

there is no way they will pass it with the filter out, scoops have a whole list of cans and cant's.. so to get it licenced go as stock as you can...

yeah i have to ring up dpi or what ever it is to see what i can and cant do.. or get them to send out a list for me. the engine sits too high for me to put any standard filter undeneath:( i do have a turbo scoop but am thinking of something a little tougher because the thou is a tough little car.

wouldnt it be about the same amount of trouble to use a sidedraft carby, or a vanette manifold that angles down for more clearance, than chopping up your bonnet.

i already have one with a hole cut into it thats why i was asking.. i also have one without a hole cut into it.. was just looking at different options on what to do.. i like a little bit of custom work to make my car is a little bit different to everyone elses.

alright i have found out that i can get an adaptor plate that sits on top of the carbie with the filter on it that screws down,,,the only trouble is that i am needing one that will sit under the turbo scoop. eventually i will buy myself a twin sidedrapht setup but this will do for now. i have to get a filter that is 5cms. and then the adaptor plate can only be 2 all up. so yeah where would be the best place to get one of these??
